Day 01:
SUN - ARRIVE LONDON |

to London - home of traditions that have changed
little in centuries, yet with a vitality that
maintains the city’s reputation as a
cultural trendsetter! There are transfers
from the airport to the tour hotel. After
checking in the afternoon is yours to relax,
shop or explore? This evening, you are invited
to an informative meeting and Welcome Drink
with your Insight local host. |

Day 02: MON - LONDON
SIGHTSEEING |

This
morning our guided sightseeing tour acquaints
us with London’s West End. We see Westminster
Abbey, where kings and queens have been crowned
for centuries. We pass the Houses of Parliament,
Big Ben, Downing Street and Nelson’s
Column in Trafalgar Square. We continue through
Piccadilly Circus and look for the Royal Standard
flying over Buckingham Palace, indicating
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth is in residence.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to
explore at our own pace. (B) |

Day 03: TUE - EXCURSION
TO LEEDS CASTLE & CANTERBURY |

Our
trip takes us into the peaceful Kent countryside,
the ‘Garden of England’, to visit
fairy-tale Leeds Castle, ‘rising like
a jewel from its own lake’. One of the
loveliest castles in the world, it was originally
built as a stronghold but converted into a
royal palace by Henry VIII. After time to
explore the castle and grounds we depart for
the castle and grounds we depart for the attractive
medieval city of Canterbury, whose Cathedral
has been a focal point for Anglicans for centuries.
It was here that Chaucer found inspiration
for his ‘Canterbury Tales’ and
also where Thomas a Becket was murdered and
achieved martyrdom in 1170. We drive on passing
the 12C Dover Castle set on high ground overlooking
the English Channel. We see the White Cliffs,
the first sight of England for so many travelers,
before returning to London. (B) |

Day 04: WED - LONDON
AT LEISURE |

Today
is at leisure to explore London’s beautiful
parks, exquisite shops, museums and art galleries.
With such a rich choice of attractions on
offer, it is no wonder that London is Europe’s
most popular tourist centre! Why not devote
part of the day to the ancient treasures of
the British Museum, or the Old Masters in
the National Gallery? Or visit St Paul’s
Cathedral, baroque masterpiece of Sir Christopher
Wren? Tonight, why not attend a fabulous show
in the heart of London’s famous West

Day 05: THU - EXCURSION
TO BATH & STONEHENGE |

This
morning our trip takes us through the North
Downs to pre-historic Stonehenge, whose strange
and awe-inspiring monoliths are reputed to
the over 4,000 years old. After visiting this
mysterious stone circle we continue to the
fine city of Bath, famous for its Roman and
Georgian aspects. Bath is the most celebrated
of British spas and is the site of Britain’s
only hot, mineral springs. Sightseeing includes
a visit to the Roman Baths and Pump Room.
Then, after a panoramic coach and walking
tour of the elegant Georgian buildings, we
return to London. (B) |

Day 06: FRI - LONDON
AT LEISURE |

Today
is entirely at leisure to visit the many varied
London attractions as you wish. Why not see
the fabulous Crown Jewels at the Tower of
London, or ride the London Eye. If it’s
shopping that interests you, this is the town!
From Harrods and the boutiques of Knightsbridge,
to the department stores of Oxford Street
and the local street markets - it’s
a shoppers’ paradise! Then we proceed
towards the Swaminarayan Temple. Enjoy delicious
dinner and overnight at the hotel. (D) |

Day 07: SAT - DEPART

Our vacation ends this morning
after breakfast. You are transferred back to
